Eldon Brustuen
As President of Brustuen International, Mr. Brustuen has successfully
introduced software and related IT products and services to the Asian
market. Prior to establishing Brustuen International, Mr. Brustuen served
as Director of International Trade for the State of Minnesota from 1983
to 1986. He was previously employed by the Avionics Division of Honeywell,
Inc. for nine years. Mr. Brustuen was provided to the Governor's Office
in 1983 as a Honeywell Loaned Executive to help create the international
trade promotion program for the State of Minnesota. Prior to becoming
Director of International Trade, he served as Executive Director of
the Governor's Advisory Commission on International Trade. Mr. Brustuen
spent four years establishing international marketing communications
programs for client companies of the region's leading public relations
firm in addition to successfully marketing the agency's international
services. He assisted in creating WORLDCOM, the world's largest group
of independent public relations agencies. He has served on the Board
of Directors of numerous corporate, civic, and professional organizations.
He received his bachelor's degree from St. Olaf College and his MBA
from University of St. Thomas.
Hiroshi Yamashita
While he has supported and advised Eldon Brustuen's Japanese business
ventures since 1982, Mr. Yamashita has been affiliated with Brustuen
International along with other business and civic leadership activities
since his formal retirement in 1996. A Honeywell executive from 1980
until his retirement in 1996, he served as Vice President/General Manager
and later President, Honeywell Information Systems Japan; Vice President,
Honeywell Systems International; Vice President, Business Development
International; and Vice President, Honeywell Japan. He served on the
Board of Directors of Yamatake-Honeywell, Goldstar-Honeywell in Korea,
and Tata-Honeywell in India. Prior to his Honeywell employment he was
a Univac sales executive. He was appointed Honorary Trade Representative
of the State of Minnesota by Governor Rudy Perpich, reappointed by Governor
Arne Carlson, and again reappointed by Governor Jesse Ventura. Mr. Yamashita
has a Bachelor of Law degree from the University of Tokyo Law School
and was awarded a Fulbright Scholarship to the University of Wisconsin
Graduate School of Economics. Mr. Yamashita was very recently named
to the Board of Directors of the Minnesota Orchestra as well as to the
Board of Directors of a joint venture between Fiat/Case/New Holland
and Kobelco Corporation of Japan.
Seung-Hyun Yoon
Mr. Yoon and his father have had a strategic business relationship supporting
Brustuen International's Korean marketing ventures since the company
was created in 1986. As Brustuen International Director, Korean Marketing,
Mr. Yoon has used his family's very strong relationships with Korean
business, military, and political leaders to successfully introduce
United States software and other companies to the Korean marketplace.
In cooperation with Brustuen International, the Yoon family has introduced
and supported a number of prominent U.S. business, political, and educational
leaders in their Korean efforts, including senators, two governors,
a former cabinet member and U.S. Vice President. He has very strong
long-term business relationships with the leading Korean Chaebols ,
including Hyundai, Samsung, Daewoo, Lucky Goldstar, Kia/Asia, and others.
Mr. Yoon graduated with a business degree in Statistics from the University
of Minnesota, followed by several years of PhD graduate work before
returning to Korea to resume his business activities. Mr. Yoon currently
lives in Seoul with his wife and two children.
Mukul Saklani
Mr. Saklani has been a world-renowned professional in the Information
Technology industry for almost three decades. As an executive with Sperry
Univac and Unisys Corporation for fifteen years, Mr. Saklani was instrumental
in the development and implementation of mission-critical airline systems
around the world. He has served as project manager or a systems architect
on twenty-one of the world's major airlines. He has extensive experience
in working with multinational teams in vastly varied work environments.
In addition to his leadership role as project manager and system architect,
Mr. Saklani is widely recognized as being instrumental in educating
and training both upper level management and workplace clients on the
usage and maintenance of their complex new systems. His client base
in the United States, Europe, and Asia includes some of the world's
leading high technology firms, banks, government organizations, airlines,
and pharmaceutical firms. Of counsel as a strategic partner of Brustuen
International, Mr. Saklani founded Invotech Systems in 1983, a multinational
consulting firm specializing in personalized productivity enhancement
solutions. He is the founder and former CEO of Yatra, an on-line B2B
travel management solutions corporation.
Rustam Effendi
President Rustam Effendi is a highly visible ASIAN business and political
leader. Former Indonesian President Suharto invited him to a private
meeting with President Clinton during their hosted APEC Conference.
He was featured in the January 1996 U.S. News & World Report special
issue "Trendsetters: People To Watch".
Because of his strong influence in high-level international business
circles, Mr. Effendi has been instrumental in successfully supporting
Brustuen International's sales of U.S. software systems in Asia. In
addition to his role as the ASEAN Strategic Partner of Brustuen International,
Mr. Effendi is President and largest shareholder of an Indonesian heavy
equipment distributor, PT Hexindo Adiperkasa. In addition to being Hitachi's
largest heavy equipment distributor, they are exclusive Indonesian distributors
for John Deere, Krupp, Fiat, Daewoo Forklift, and other multinationals.
They also have a manufacturing joint venture with Hitachi Construction
Machinery. They focus on the construction, mining, and agricultural
sectors with 23 sales/service dealerships throughout Indonesia. Hexindo
is traded on the Jakarta and the Surabaya Stock Exchanges.

with professional affiliates located in numerous countries. Each international
specialist is considered an expert in a certain technology, market,
