Successful international trade projects are based
on a clear understanding of obstacles, opportunities, and objectives
in the targeted marketplace. To ensure success, it is absolutely mandatory
that senior management be fully committed to the entire life of the
project, with direct, regular communication between corporate officials
and Brustuen International team members.
Each client is assigned at least two professionals,
with one acting as lead. Additional specialists are retained by Brustuen
International as required to optimize the client's probability of success
in the targeted foreign marketplace. Clearly defined sales goals are
negotiated and used to measure our mutual success.
Compensation terms are established on a case-by-case
basis. Fee billing is based on rates ranging from $115 per hour to $255
per hour for senior professionals. Retainers starting as low as $6000
per month give the client greater access and flexibility, with an effective
lower cost to the client than through hourly billing. Commissions on
sales generated by Brustuen International are paid by clients, with
an advance against commissions paid monthly during the initial months
of the project.
Brustuen International is reimbursed for approved out-of-pocket
expenses at cost.
